Waiting...

Another week until my household goods arrive. They're in the area, but need to go through customs. I'm anxious to get into them again; it's been horrible living out of two suitcases (and a few purchased items) for the last 2+ months ... although, I'm not entirely sure what I packed before I left, so I'm hoping to open those plastic clothing bins and find oodles of new and fancy clothes!!!! It's possible, right?

Two more weeks until I'm off to Greece! My friend Danny and I are going together. It'll be a short trip, but I'm sure there will be some good photos and stories to post once I return. We'll be heading out on a short business trip after returning home ... so just a few days to rest up from Greece before traveling around again.

Six more weeks until my Jeep arrives - I got the bank loan a few days ago, so it's been paid for and is on it's way here. I opted to pay it off in 3 years, so I may just extend until it's 100% mine!

So, in the meantime, I'm just kind of hanging out. I've cut down on eating out or dating for a bit in order to stop spending money and lose the few pounds I put on! I've cooked a few large meals at home to freeze and eat later. So far the cooking is going well - I've learned the general difference between degrees F and C; and I've planned things out a little better so my food doesn't rot before I have a chance to eat it. Once my cookbooks arrive I may have a few friends over for regular dinners - more work for me, but wine is a common house gift when hosting here, and I have a rack that needs to be filled...
