This weekend I attended my first brunch. As you can see by the crowd, it's apparently quite the event. They're hosted at all of the major hotels every Friday; you buy tickets in advance and are assigned tables. My friend Tom took me to this one and we sat amongst his friends - all female, most from Scotland. Tom was the only man, I still don't know how he arranged it.
After the brunch most of the room cleared out and headed over to the nearest bar. From there everyone kind of spread around the city - we ended the night at an Irish Pub where we continued to run into people from earlier in the day.
Needless to say I didn't really do anything productive Friday.
